Monday:
The next morning we slept for a while, woke up when we thought it was 11 or 12 in the morning, but it was only 7. We got up even though we were tired (Jon’s neck was killing him, as was Dash’s back). They had an ok free breakfast at the hotel. It consisted of the standard Argentinian breakfast: coffee, medialunas (a croissant-like pastry), and fresh squeezed oj. After breakfast, we hunted around town for a little bit for some aspirin for Jon’s neck. The search was somewhat fruitful; we found some muscle relaxers and he started popping those like candy.
We went back to the beautiful pool at the hotel for some sunbathing. It was kind of good, although Dash had forgotten to bring a book so he had to keep stealing Jon’s book to read his. Jon's book was really good, it was called The Dice Man and you should read it. It was a little selfish of Dash. Other noteworthy events from the sunbathing involved seeing some girls that were visiting from Germany. One of them was swimming around the pool with a hat on. Kind of odd. She wasn’t good looking in the slightest, but Jon called out to her while she was in the pool. We started talking and we noticed that she had two black eyes. Nevertheless, Jon told her that she was beautiful. This caused her to launch into a story about how she had two black eyes from falling on her face in Mendoza. For some reason the subject of her age came up. Jon guessed that she was 31, thinking that she was about 39 and he would sound really nice. In reality, she was 30. It would have broken the camera to take a picture so we didn't. There was also another couple with a small baby. The man had boobs and they couldn't have been more floppy and Dash tried in vain to get a picture. However, due to the discreetness, the photo quality was not on par with the other great shots, so we decided if you used your imagination, you would get a better idea of what these looked like. Dash likes treading water in the pool. Ask him about the time he tread water in Costa Rica at an opportune time.

We planned to go to the Brazilian side of the falls that day. We were going across the border in a taxi and weren’t sure if it was particularly safe. It was weird, but everyone we asked said different things about whether we could get across without a visa. There should be some set rule or something that is easy to find out. So we went across in a taxi cab and had no problem. The Brazilian side of the falls were definitely better than the Argentinian side (even though every person had told us the opposite). We were glad to have gone there. Words can't describe how amazing these falls were, so I won't even try. There was a lot of water and it was falling and it was splashing and it was amazing just amazing.

After seeing the falls, we drove back to Iguazu. Dash really really enjoyed the falls and the sound of the thunderous water, as this is as genuine and unsarcastic of a smile as you'll find from Dasheroni.

Wildlife was plentiful, but we won't inundate you with all of the photos. Here's a nice one that Jon caught. You know what they say,
"Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly."

Dash was getting extremely cranky because we hadn’t eaten a real meal yet that day and it was 4 pm already. Dash wanted to eat when we got back even if the result was eating really bad food. So that’s what we did, and the food was horrible. We had some beer that was pretty good though. That night we bought a couple cigars and went back to the same restaurant that we had been at the night before. Dash was nervous about smoking the cigars in the restaurant, but they said it was ok. Then he started getting nervous that every person sitting near us would hate us for it (as if they didn’t hate us already!). We told the waiter to take his time in bringing out the food because we wanted to eat a leisurely dinner. He took this to the extreme and waited about two hours to bring out the food. His tip changed inversely with the amount of time we waited. In addition, Jon tried in vain to get a larger glass for his wine and this seemed to cause quite a stir, even though Dash had a large glass and there was an empty table across the way that had a large wine glass atop it. Jon eventually succeeded at obtaining his large glass, but not before 3 members of the staff despised him.
