My parents, Debby and Isaac, divorced when I was five. They had joint-custody and both lived in NYC so my identical twin brother, Jonathan, and I spent significant amounts of time with both of them. When they got divorced, I was excited about getting a room in a new apartment. I don't remember being even one percent sad. Ridiculous!

Jonathan is six-minutes older than me. He lives in NYC and works as an options trader. We look and sound similar and traded places twice in High School (He went to a different school from me), fooling many people.

I also have a half-sister, Rachel, an aspiring singer, from my dad's second marriage. I don't get to see her that much, unfortunately.

My dad has a brother, Dava, and a sister, Judy. Judy is married to Jay and they have a daughter, Danila, who is now in college. Danila talks extremely fast, and people think she's a New Yorker though she's actually from Oakland, California.

My mom has a brother, David, who is married to Rhona. They have two sons, Eric and Jason. Jason lives in NYC and works as an actuary. Jason is also an aspiring comedian and likes to sit in the front row when comics do their schtic so that they pick on him and he can rattle comebacks. Uncle David likes to be called Aunt David. He has done many interesting things with computers in his life, so we have that in common.

So my family is quite small. I am also close to some second-cousins of mine in Israel and Canada. It really is too bad we are all spread so far apart, but I certainly didn't help things by being in China the last two years.
